The clausure of the Dominican Monastery is one of
the most valuable historical buildings in the Old Town of Tallinn. The clausure contained the most important rooms of the Monastery - the prior's room, library, the Capital Hall, dormitory, sacristy, walks, and vestry. In the 14th and 15th century, the meetings of the leaders of the Knighthoods of Harju and Virumaa were often held in the clausure. Eligibly, one of the strongest energy columns in Estonia is situated in the Capital Hall.
