Conference Facilities INTRODUCTION The Tallinn Dominican Monastery, founded in 1246. The clausure of the Dominican Monastery is one of the most valuable historical buildings in the Old Town of Tallinn. The clausure contained the most important rooms of the Monastery - the prior's room, library, the Capital Hall, dormitory, sacristy, walks, and vestry. In the 14th and 15th century, the meetings of the leaders of the Knighthoods of Harju and Virumaa were often held in the clausure. Eligibly, one of the strongest energy columns in Estonia is situated in the Capital Hall. The Old Dormitory room, built in 1246, is now available for seminars and receptions

LOCATION   Located in the heart of the Old Town of Tallinn, the clausure is ideally situated for holding small conferences, seminars, training courses, clublike activities and corporate hospitality in the historical atmosphere of the Monastery. The Tea Room of the Old Capital Hall is perfect for the afternoon tea.

FACILITIES   Conference facilities are available for up to 50 people. Rooms can be adapted for various uses including seminars, lectures and board-room style meetings. Other seminar rooms are available for workgroups and smaller meetings. Equipment available includes whiteboards, flip-charts, overhead and slide projectors, and a data projector.
